What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use related browser storage (such as localStorage) and third-party tags that work the same way. Some are essential to run the site; others are optional and only used with your permission.
Cookie categories
- Essential (always on):Keep you signed in (Supabase auth session), protect against cross-site request forgery, route requests to the right subdomain, remember your theme, and store your cookie choice itself. The site can’t work without these, so they don’t require consent.
- Analytics (optional): We use Metricool to measure site traffic and how pages perform so we can improve them. Only set if you allow the Analytics category.
- Advertising (optional): We use Google Ads to measure which ads bring people to DeweyIQ. When you start a trial, we may send a hashed match of your email address to Google to attribute the conversion to your ad click. Only set — and email is only shared — if you allow the Advertising category.

How we get consent
On your first visit, optional cookies are off by default. Google tags load in Google’s Consent Mode with consent denied, so no advertising cookies are written and no data is shared until you allow the Advertising category. Metricool is not loaded at all until you allow the Analytics category. Our cookie banner lets you accept everything, reject everything non-essential, or choose per category.
Your choices
You can any time — from this page, the banner, or the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. Your choice is saved on the device you’re using and applied immediately. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent DeweyIQ from working correctly.

DeweyIQ does not sell your personal information for money. Our use of the Google Ads advertising cookie may qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA).
