Open QBO integration
Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks Online → 'Connect QuickBooks'.
Authorize via Intuit
Redirected to Intuit. Pick the QBO company you want to sync (if you have multiple). Approve the permissions DeweyIQ needs (customers, invoices, payments, items, accounts).
Initial sync
We pull existing customers from QBO so we don't double-create. Invoices and payments only sync going forward.
Sync schedule
Customers/invoices/payments sync continuously (within minutes of changes). Item catalog and account list sync nightly. Force a manual sync from Settings → Integrations → 'Sync now'.
If something doesn't sync
Check Settings → Integrations → 'Sync log'. Common cause: missing required QBO field (e.g. item missing income account). Click any failed row for the exact error.
