Minimum required
Just full name. That's it. Email, phone, address, gate code are all optional but recommended (the field tech needs gate codes; the customer needs an email for portal access).

Add their pool
From the customer page → 'Add pool'. Capture: pool name (e.g. 'Main pool'), type (pool/spa/fountain), volume, surface type, sanitizer. Sanitizer drives chemistry targets; surface drives calcium hardness range.

Set assigned tech and route
Pick a tech and a route name. The customer auto-appears on that tech's route on their next service day.

Send portal invite (optional)
Customer page → 'Send portal invite'. Customer gets an email with a magic link to view their account, pay invoices, and message you.
